 The Tenuta of Morzano, first named Podere del Nonno Nanni, extends over the hill of Morzano at altitude between 300 and 350 meters: 60 hectares of vineyards, 5 of olive-groves and 25 hectares of  grain and farro. Since 1973, Francesca and Luciano Mignolli produce Chianti, Chianti Montespertoli (1997), Chianti Superiore, Reserva, Vinsanto from Chianti, IGT red and white (DOC and typical geographic denomination) growing red grapes (SanGiovese, Canaiolo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Gamay, Colorino and Shiraz) and white grapes (Trebbiano, Malvasia, Sauvignon and Chardonnay). On 1975, the Tenuta of Morzano was the first in Italy to vinificate and produce the new wine : Montespertoli’s Vinnovo, the first one of new wines. The Tenuta of Morzano organise guided visit of the cellars, wine tasting at the farm’s wine-shop and holidays in the Borgo Filicardo.
